boothing

I was recently involved in a local event where I got to set up a Pie N' the Sky booth. I love making little tweaks and changes each time I set up and I love documenting through photos. It's fun to look back through over the years. Thought I'd share a few photos...

I'm hoping to update the shop this next week! Lots of new necklaces and hopefully a brand new product (if all goes well). Can't wait to share! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

just a swinging

While in Austin visiting Adrienne, we visited this fun little area created through the Red Swing Project. If you've never heard of them (which I hadn't) then you should definitely visit their site! Their whole goal is to anonymously hang red swings in public places to inspire playfulness, and the best part is that anyone can do it! I'm just in love with the whole concept and Adrienne and I had so so so much fun just swinging! I can't even remember the last time I swung on a swing - it was fun to feel like a kid again.

I found a few close to me, but none in my city. Do you have a red swing project location in your town??

Renegade Craft Fair + winter

Adrienne and I participated in our second Renegade Craft Fair this past weekend. It was SO much fun and I had a blast meeting new friends from vendors to even a few readers! It was a successful weekend for sure, and getting to do the thing I love with my sister, makes it even sweeter!

This was such a wonderful experience and we can't wait to do it again in the Spring!

sweet succulents

Adrienne and I decided to sell a few of our most favorite plants, succulents, at our booth this past weekend. I had SO much fun picking them out and getting them all planted in their new homes. I post about these lovely little plants often, but I just can't seem to help myself. They are so wonderful.

There's a certain magic about em, wouldn't you agree? In New Mexico, we had tons of these little plants everywhere! They've become a little piece of home for me.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, we celebrated at Adrienne's home, in Austin. There were quite a few of us, so it was extra cozy! I love being with family, so I never mind. We ate lots of turkey, but I was most excited when my mom made posole and enchiladas... because I'm Mexican and I love my food, haha!

It was wonderful and I didn't want it to end, but with Christmas just around the corner, it made saying goodbye just a little bit easier. Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving??

Also, my sister hasn't set up her wifi yet, which explains my unexpected leave of absence. sorries. I'm back now though and can't wait to share all about the Renegade Craft Fair!
